F and G 650GS

The wiring diagrams for the GS are available from BMW at a price so they are not provided here. The diagrams are available in two forms. A hard copy manual specific to the GS or as a CD with all diagrams for all models. The part numbers to order the diagrams are on the various online fiche.

The problem with the BMW diagrams is that circuits can be spread across multiple pages making fault finding difficult. The diagrams below are single page simplified diagrams showing only the information needed to trouble shoot individual circuits to make life a little easier

The differences in wiring between the 00-04 GS, the 05-07 and the G Series are minimal. The later models do have a different wiring harness with different BMS and ABS connectors but overall the wiring is the same. In an emergency the earlier wiring diagrams should be good enough to trouble shoot a later model.
